what does the ‘g’ in gDiapers stand for?

They don’t say, and aside from the obvious adjective “green” my vote is for “great.” I cannot say enough how much I love these diapers. They are guilt-free, adorable, easy and smart. Yes, they do make me emotional. My husband and I really debated the options when we were expecting and felt like this solutions was made just for us. Of course it wasn’t, but I find myself recommending them to parents everywhere who have never heard of them. Getting refills is admittedly a bit of a pain (only offered at Whole Foods and select other places), but well worth the hassle of getting to those places. Of course, you can always order cases directly from gDiapers as well.

So why should you care? They are flushable diapers (flushable cotton liner, washable outer pant and plastic liner) so there is no odor or obnoxious diaper genie in your home. If you happen to have a yard or garden, the wet diapers can be composted. Read: there is no landfill issue here. And aside from being eco-friendly (cradle-to-cradle certified), they are adorable and don’t promote any cartoon characters. Hooray! Lastly, in my daughter’s 14 months, I can count on one hand how many leaking diapers we’ve had and, in all honesty, I think it was due to sloppy diapering and not the diaper itself.

But don’t take it from me, pick up a starter kit and try it out for yourself.
