I have the distinct pleasure of knowing a very smart and insightful man and futurist, David Houle, who recently shared information about the Institute for Truth in Accounting. This organization aims to bring transparency and truth in accounting at the highest levels. They are spreading the word about the national deficit.
As Americans and parents, it is imperative that we understand the tremendous debt our children will inherit. I urge you to visit www.truthin2008.org to, at a minimum, learn the staggering truth about the financial state of our nation. It will make you wince, to be certain. Our children (and theirs, and theirs) need us to do all we can to stop this profuse hemorrhaging. You can sign up on their website to learn how you can take part in making a difference.
